September Group Activity Submissions Part 3

This entry is just a couple of pages from a small, first-attempt art journal I did a year or so ago. The writing is not the best...it says:  "Fall, Autumn    No one does it like God." GOD is the original and ultimate artisan! All attempts at creativity initiate with the elements that He created... form, color, shadow, light, texture... to name just a few... not to mention the inclination and desire to create that He places within us.

Each Fall I find myself in grateful awe as He lavishly splashes His beauty and majesty across the countryside that surrounds me.

To do these pages painted gesso on both pages and let them dry. Then I used acrylic paints and glazes applied with a flat edge (old credit card), stamps and a black sharpie for the hand lettering on the second page. The words "Fall & Autumn" were stamped with black archival ink.
